For landowners

Open the land that was never on the map.

Riders pay for legal day access to private farm routes that weren’t publicly accessible before. We handle the mapping, signage, contracts, and payments. You set the rules — windows, rider caps, off-limits zones, blackout dates, route changes. The payout split is agreed with you in writing during onboarding.

How onboarding works

Founder-led, end-to-end. Typically a week from first call to live — longer if we need to wait on lambing or harvest.

  1. Step 01

    First call

30 minutes by phone or WhatsApp. We talk through your land, the routes you'd be open to, the rules you want, what's off-limits. No commitment.

  2. Step 02

    Mapping day on-site

Half a day on the farm. We GPS the agreed routes, mark gates, decision points, viewpoints, off-limits zones. You ride along if you want.

  3. Step 03

    Listing + signage

We take photos, write the listing copy, install signage at the gate, set up your payouts on the cadence that suits you. Typically a week from mapping to live.

  4. Step 04

    First bookings

We hand-pick the first riders so the system gets stress-tested with people we trust before opening it up to the network.

What you control

Six dials only the farmer touches. We never override these.

  • 🚧

    Speed limits

Per route or per section. Enforced on every listing.

  • 👥

    Riders per day

Hard cap. The platform will not accept bookings beyond it.

  • 🚫

    Off-limits areas

Marked on every route map. Deviating riders forfeit their account.

  • 📅

    Blackout dates

Lambing, harvest, fire season — close any day with one click.

  • 🛠️

    Route changes

Close, modify, or remove any route at any time. Active permits get refunded.

The accountability is the product.

We're a marketplace, but the load-bearing thing is the trust contract riders sign before they touch your gate.

  • Identity-verified, every rider, every permit.

SA ID, passport, or driver's licence — plus a licence disc for every motorbike. Each one is reviewed by hand against a selfie before the rider can book.

  • Manifest before arrival.

You see who's coming, what they ride, their photo, and their arrival window — before they hit your gate. Extras get challenged.

  • Real consequences.

Bringing unverified riders is straight account suspension on first offence. Repeat damage charged back to the rider's payment method.

Common questions

  • What does the onboarding cost me?

Nothing upfront. We cover the mapping day, signage, listing setup. Our cost is recovered through a commission on bookings, agreed with you in writing during onboarding and printed on the signed listing agreement. If your farm doesn't get bookings, we don't earn anything from you.

  • Do I need any special hardware?

No. We use your existing keypad PIN, combination padlock, or no lock at all — whatever's already on your gate. You set the code yourself, whenever you choose; the platform shows the latest code to active permit holders on their permit card and emails it to them.

  • What happens if a rider damages something or leaves a gate open?

Every rider on every permit is identity-verified, so there's always an accountable name behind any problem. You report it to us and we act, working through a clear ladder — coaching note, formal warning, suspension, indefinite ban, permanent ban — with a 7-day appeal window. The accountability is real, not theatre. Happy to walk you through the full ladder on the call.

  • Can I see who is coming before they arrive?

Yes — every permit gives you the rider manifest with photos, names, vehicles, and arrival window. If extras show up, you can challenge them at the gate.

  • What about insurance and liability?

Riders sign an indemnity at booking that covers your land for normal-risk riding. We're working on a layered group-indemnity product as more farms onboard. Happy to walk through the current coverage and your specific situation on the call.

  • I don't want my farm being a thoroughfare. Can I keep it small?

Absolutely. Plenty of farms cap at 6–8 riders a day. Routekeepers exists to add controlled income, not turn your land into a public route.

Ready to open your land?

A few details to start. We'll get in touch within a working day, chat about your land, and only come out to map it if it's a fit. No commitment from you to proceed.
