A farm permit, step by step

Verify who you are, once
Upload your SA ID, passport or driver's licence and a quick selfie. On a registered motorbike or in a 4×4? Add your licence disc and plate too; a dirt bike, quad or mountain bike gets four photos instead. It's how a farmer knows exactly who's coming — they see your name, never the document. Do it once — every future booking reuses it.

Pick your farm, route and date
Browse mapped routes by machine, region, distance and difficulty, with the price up front. Add the riders in your group — each one is verified too — and fold camping or a multi-day trip into one order.

Pay once — get your permit
One secure payment. Your permit card appears straight away, lands in your email, and stays at a private link. Screenshot it — it works with no signal at the gate.

Arrive and get in
Your permit carries a booking code the farmer matches to their manifest, plus your gate access — a keypad or combination code, or the name and number to phone on arrival, depending on the farm. No guesswork at the gate.
Plans change. Change your date free up to 24 hours before your window opens — any wild-camp nights move with it.
The other thing here, and it’s free
Route guides — for the roads you can already ride
It is not a permit. A route guide gets you onto nobody’s land and you don’t need one to ride the route. Those roads are public and anyone may ride them.
It’s somebody’s work, given away. Another rider rode it, recorded the line, and wrote down what they found — the gates, the sand, the water crossings, the section that closes after rain. You get their file and their notes instead of an evening spent drawing a route off a satellite photo.
Free, and yours to keep. Sign in and download it — there’s nothing to pay. Every later update comes with it, and every guide carries the date it was last confirmed, the name of the rider who wrote it, and a link to report it if the road has changed.

What to expect
- We hand you a GPX file — keep using the nav app you already trust. We don't do turn-by-turn.
- Prices are per rider on a bike or on foot, and what you see is what you pay — no surprise fees. Riding as a group? Everyone goes into one order.
- For now we keep it simple — permits, not multi-farm trip planning. A farm's own firewood or fuel top-up can ride along with your permit.
